What to Wear to BC Place
- Light jacket: BC Place has a retractable roof (rain not an issue inside, but comfort varies)
- Comfortable walking shoes: Lots of walking to the stadium and from transit
- Sunscreen: June evenings are bright until 9 PM. UV index is moderate-high.
- Layers: Morning matches can be surprisingly cool. Bring a sweater or lightweight hoodie.
Complete Packing List
☑ Clear bag for stadium (12" × 6" × 12" max)
☑ Portable phone charger (stadium WiFi is unreliable)
☑ Reusable water bottle (plastic, refillable inside stadium)
☑ Rain jacket (packable, always useful in Vancouver)
☑ Tap-to-pay card (contactless, accepted everywhere)
☑ Comfortable walking shoes (not sandals)
☑ Sunscreen SPF 30+
☑ Light sweater or hoodie for evenings
☑ Hat or cap (optional, good for sun protection)
Pro Tip: Dress in Layers
Vancouver weather is unpredictable. Start with a t-shirt, bring a sweater. If you get too warm, you can always tie the sweater around your waist and carry it. This is safer than underpacking and being cold during a 3-hour match.
